In a feature by Folha de S.Paulo, Daniel Atz — founder of LuxCitizenship — was mentioned in coverage of Luxembourg’s 2023 parliamentary election, which included a surprising number of dual citizens voting from abroad, including many in Brazil.
The article, titled “Políticos de Luxemburgo disputam votos de brasileiros com dupla cidadania” (Luxembourg politicians compete for votes from Brazilians with dual citizenship), highlights how over 1,200 Brazilian citizens with Luxembourg nationality were eligible to vote in the election. Daniel contributed key insight into how these dual citizens obtained their status, often with the help of his firm, which specializes in citizenship-by-ancestry applications.
The story also noted that one of the candidates on the ballot, Alexandra Schoos, is herself a Brazilian-Luxembourg dual citizen — and a former LuxCitizenship client.
